We are grateful for all of our altar servers, for their service to the Lord and to our parish.  If you would like to become an altar server, please contact Fr. Acervo.  You must have already made your First Communion and receive training before you can serve.

The St. Edward Altar Society is a group dedicated to loving service to our Lord. We host monthly meetings in which we pray and discuss how we are able to help meet needs within the Parish. We clean the church and maintain the flower gardens. We work to do our best to share all the love that Jesus freely gives to us in the Holy Eucharist and through the Mass.

We gather at the 8:00 A.M. Mass the First Tuesday of every month and proceed to the Convent for refreshments and our monthly business meeting. Please consider joining us anytime!

St. Edward’s Evangelization Committee was organized with the intent of spreading the Gospel, deepening the understanding of our faith, and renewing the enthusiasm of our congregation.

We hope to encourage those who are searching and welcome back inactive parishioners. Our goal is to fill the pews with engaged Catholics who are filled with the Holy Spirit and intent on the mission Christ has assigned to us: “go out into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16).

The Parish Finance Council is an essential consultative body of the parish that “assists the pastor in the administration of the goods the parish (see Canon Law 537). It assists the pastor in his responsibility to administer the material resources of the parish efficiently, transparently, and productively.

We have Men’s Nights every other month at St. Edward.  Join us for adoration, dinner, and fellowship as well as a talk about some aspect of Christ’s life.  If you want to become a better man, we need to spend time with Him who is the perfect man.  Get to know Jesus and learn how to imitate Him while being encouraged by other men.

The Parish Council meets on the third Tuesday of every other month. Its role is as a consultative body of the parish that assists the pastor in the governance of the parish.

 

The Society’s mission is to help people in need to not only survive whatever crisis they are facing – financial, medical or personal – but to help get them “back on their feet.” Direct aid or assistance is the heart of the work of the local conferences. Assistance is offered on a personal basis and is provided with respect and dignity.
